Was in South Central Vermont this weekend. Weather was unbelievable and there is some color breaking out. Hard Frost on Friday night (the farmer behind my cabin said it got to 26!) The Swamp (Red) maples are lighting up on the hills around Ludlow and Stratton. Going back next week and the 15 day forecast sounds awesome! Enjoy! PWT, what a joy it must be to live in that color!

thanks bva for your observations--I know where Ludlow is, but where's Stratton?

Stratton is about 20 minutes south of Ludlow. It is in the towns of Bondville and Winhall. The mountain has a nice village that has food and a gondola ride tot the top. Skiing isn't bad either.
