If you're looking for fall colors, you will likely be late for most of New England, let alone a northern state such as Vermont. November is generally part of the year affectionately known as Stick Season (after the leaf fall and before the snows arrive). This is a rather sparsely visited part of the year, and it can be quite nice since many of the usual attractions will be emptier and more accessible. I wouldn't say not to go then, but you shouldn't have any preconceived notions about seeing valleys awash in color. Good luck!<P>Daniel
