Hi Guys,

I am planning to go to Vermont for the foliage from Boston tomorrow. Can someone help me find a good route to see the beauty of foliage? Highways route or back ways are all welcomed. Thanks in advance.

For tomorrow I would be between route 15 and routes US 2 and 302. Also Route 100 from route 15 south to route 73. For next week the Woodstock area and some of the roads a little north. Routes 14,12, 110 between Woodstock and the Montpelier - Barre area. If you plan to come next weekend keep checking in. I plan to wander around there tomorrow.

Wow, still that far north?

My friend is coming tomorrow and we can't go that far north. I think we will go to the Killington area and see how it looks. What would you suggest within an hour of say, Wilmington VT? This might be useful to the original poster too, depending on his plans.

Is going to Woodstock tomorrow going to just be a waste of time? Thanks. --c

Route 15 is still great. Will be past peak very soon though.

Yeah.. but it's too far to drive. We only have a few hours in the afternoon and I don't think I want to spend all of them just driving north and then back south again if I can avoid it. :) --c

ixl,
I am staying at the Sunrise condo in Killington. I went to Woodstock & River Road area today, I think the Killington area has better color.

Thanks Laird. I guess we will just stick to the route 100 corridor then. --c
