I was touring the Connecticut Valley yesterday (Oct 17)concentrating north of I89. Good color was still present.

The Bradford area was especially nice. The previous day's rain made waterfall images once again possible after a couple of weeks with very little moisture. The dam runoff at Bradford was roaring.

Further down I91, I made stops at Thetford Center and then Thetford Hill where Academy Road south provided excellent views east into New Hampshire.

Nice foliage and pictures. I couldn't find Bradford on Google maps. Were you referring to Branford?

Bradford is located about 30 miles north of White River Junction (intersection of interstates 91 and 89) at the intersection of I91 and Vermont state route 25. As you enter the town from the south on route 5, The old Bradford Mill is on the right and the dam and waterfall is on the left.

I shot this Mill a few years back. But I certainly did not capture the color you did!

If it sounds too good to be true, its probably . . . .
