Reports about slow-changing trees and bad weather are causing me to reconsider my plan to visit Vermont this weekend to see the fall foliage.
Has anyone visited Parc National du Mont-Orford in Quebec? I am thinking that this park could be a nice side trip in case the colors are not quite at peak in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. The person who answered the phone at the park told me today that the colors are beautiful.

It's a nice park. It does have good color. However the Kingdom WILL be peak this weekend. I was up there wandering around last Sunday and the colors were great. The leaves are changing color rapidly right now. The changes in my hometown have been dramatic in the last 5 days.
