Definitely not close to peak down here in Bennington County, although the color is starting to show up high around water. I drove over Kelly Stand Rd. mid-day today and there was nice color right around the ponds. Virtually no color along the road on the way down to Arlington or along Route 7.

This will be a good weekend to get out of your car and walk around, especially around ponds near marshes. You'll drive right by the color if you try to cruise around looking for big vistas of red and gold.

Hey dfpvt... :)

Thanks bm. As I said in another thread and will say here too, the report about "decent" color along route 9 is true.

A drive along Somerset road is also worthwhile. --c
