Route 12 Worcester Woods

My nieghbor told me that route 12 between Montpelier and Morrisville has great foliage and should be peak this weekend. If you can work this in your trips do it ! This section has some of the most intense color in the area. And some great views. And don't worry about traffic. This is a very quiet road. 4.5 miles of this 15 mile road goes through protected forests, so it's undeveloped. It starts in Morrisville across from the library and ends in Montpelier as Elm Street on State Street. All of route 12 from Morrisville to route US 5 in Hartland is a great ride. The problem is by the time it's peak in Hartland, the trees are bare in Morrisville.
