Hi All!
I found this forum a couple years ago and loved the info, so I have finally registered. I took a trip through the NEK today, and it's lookin' great

! First, the way up on 93 through the Whites was excellent, close to peak imho. Through there, the color seemed to fade to patchy for a while into VT. I continued on to Lake Willoughby, and by the time I got to the trailhead for the Mt Pisgah south trail, color was back big time. The hike up to the overlooks was great, and it seems a lot of others had the same idea! Lots of people on the trails! After the hike, I drove up to Hinton Hill Rd, over to 105, then down Newark/Abbott Hill Rd back to W Burke. Great views of peak foliage throughout, so I continued west on Rt 5 to underpass Rd, down through Sutton to Lyndonville. Great foliage all the way. I will try to post some pix here shortly

Hi Matt! Welcome to the foliage forum and I'm so glad you finally registered! Nice report and certainly looking forward to your photos! I am hoping to hike the Mt Pisgah south trail and I got some great directions from Tim (fromtheNEK poster). I see that you are a hiker from your screen name so would love to hear of your other hikes in Vermont. I've been hiking like crazy every weekend in my own state and love every minute of it! Lots of upcoming VT hikes on my list!
Again, thanks for posting here! CT

- trail on Mt Pisgah

- Lake Willoughby
I figured out how to post the pix I took with my phone, but it said the ones I took with my good camera were too large. They are better. Oh well!

Hi Matt, these are very nice even with the phone. Did you see the post above under topics that explains attaching pictures and resizing guidelines? Perhaps that would be of help? CT

Thanks CT, I just read it. Getting kinda technical for this luddite! When I figure it out, watch out!
