Foliage Report

Today I went to Peacham. Route 15 from Johnson to Walden is past peak! Cabot and the Danville Hill Road was okay. The Mack Mountain Road itself was very nice but the hillsides were showing bare spots. Peacham was good. The leaves in this area are near the end of peak. If tomorrow's storm isn't too bad the color should last a little longer.
After lunch at P&H Truckstop I went down to Bradford, VT and drove routes 25 and 302 to Barre. Colors are still strong.
I then drove to Montpelier. The colors there are not good. I went to Morse Farm on the County Road for a maple creamee. Then I went on route 12 from Montpelier to Morrisville. Past Peak!
After this weekend I would work eastern VT south of route 302 and western VT from Burlington south to maybe Manchester.
This will be my last report. I won't be able to do any more foliage rides. :(

Goodbye Phil! Have fun in Florida! I know you will be leaving soon and not coming back till taxes are due!

I hope to see you in 2015 and we will continue our wonderful day trips together again. I expect that I will be staying in a different location to change things up a bit!

Have a safe trip and I'm sorry to have disappointed you this year with my absence.
