Visit to killington

Hi, this will be my firts foliage season and I am trill about, I have never seen a complete red tree. In the Caribbean we do not have season change, exept for the hurracaine season. We plan to drive from Providence to Killington on octuber 10. My hobby is photography and I will like some feedback on photo stop in our way to Killington and in the area.

Take the Gondolla ride up the mountain, you will get some great pics. I will be up there the same day. you also have the Quechee Gorge that is an awsome site. A few covered bridges are in the area also.

Foliage should be good at that time. Good roads in that area are routes, 12, 14, 110, 132, 100, 73, and 125. Route 17 may be past best color. The longest covered bridge in the United States is in Windsor, Vt.

I am with a map looking for the places. The Gondola Ridge is in Killington or close, same for the Queche Gorge?

When you mention good roads is the road condtions or they are strighy nor to curve?

There are Not that many straight roads in Vermont. The roads I mention are paved roads with good views and foliage. Route 17 between Waitsfield and Bristol is a VERY curvy road.

The Gondolla ride is in the town of Killington. If you ask anyone up there, they will know. Quechee is around 45 mins on RT.4 out of Killington
