Was 2012 Best Fall Ever?

We've been to Vermont every Fall since 1997--Last year, from late Sept to early Oct, we saw the best color we have ever seen at Killington mtn, where the ski lifts are--and also the Northeast Kingdom past east burke, going north on Rt 114 to East Haven to Island Pond--Also parts of the Kankamagas Hwy In New Hampshire were stunning--1997 was also a great year for Killington--As a matter of fact, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2012 were all beautiful Falls--2011 was a disaster, with freak storm Irene killing the color--Anyway, does anyone else have thoughts on the best Fall ever?==of course different areas have different peaks
