Fantastic pictures as usual my friend. Long Pond totally amazing! You are an awesome photographer! Can't wait until you post your final link to the 2012 foliage shots! Especially the waterfall shots!
Please get better soon! We still have Killington and reunion meetups!!!! Rest up!

Carol: Long Pond looks like it needs to go in my next edition! Gonna need to go there in 2015. In the meantime I will just have Long Pond Envy

If it sounds too good to be true, its probably . . . .

Well looks like we are on the downswing here in the Lyndon/St J area.
Leaf drop has beenpretty substantial over the last 24 hours. I thinkthe rain has knocked a lot of leaves down. Tomorrow may still be good in isolated pockets. Outside the Passumpsic River valley may have better results.

I drove through Lake Willoughby, Newark, jobs, and Lewis ponds. Jobs was the best but the fog prevented any good shots. If you go to Lewis Pond rd be aware you can't access it from 105, there is a gate.

It seems to be a bit strange this year that the St Johnbury area peaked first and is losing its leaves first. Good to hear the Island Pond area is still holding on.

Island pond was definitely on the early side when i was there tuesday morning. One section had nice color. Rest was just starting. Expect it will look great this weekend.
