Rochester Gap

I was wondering if there was any advantage/disadvantage to taking the Rochester Gap (Camp Brook Road) from Bethel to Rochester, instead of going Rte. 107 & Rte. 100 (This weekend) ?

Aside from great scenery and good colors I can't think of a reason. If you need speed take 100 & 107. If you what agreat ride, go for it.
