I'm back in Michigan...

Hello Forum,
We just returned from our week in Fletcher Vermont. We were there Oct 10-17. Had some very beautiful days and took many many pictures. We loved it all! Because of the caliber of photography on this forum, I am a bit shy to post many pictures, but we do have one (that Hubby took) that I believe to be brilliant. So now I need to know what the rules are to post a picture and what format is the best, so I can share with you.

Thanks,
Marilee[/img]

Hi Marilee. Posting requires a third party hosting (no hosting capable here). So you need a Picassa, or Flickr, site, etc. Then you simply link your photo here using the [im] tag. Keeping the image to a web viewable size is important. Consider that some here still have older, slower machines. I would suggest that the longest side of the image have no more than 600-800 pixels. Format should be jpg.

We're all looking forward to seeing your shots. I would also like to hear about how you liked Fletcher, the Pond, etc.

Andy we loved the pond and the area and the state. We luckily caught a few days of great color in the Fletcher area. We also traveled many areas for bridges and mountain gaps and also had lunch in Montreal one day.

This picture was taken on Monday Oct.12. at the pond. I have a few more to share when I am more rested. We just returned this afternoon, so I have to get ready for work tomorrow. I took most of the pictures, but hubby got this great shot.(it figures!)
Hope I have posted correctly.

Marilee: great photo! The water is like glass! Great color and the reflections are awesome! Your husband did a very nice job!

Will you be posting more? I sure hope so! :)

Great photo. That yellow maple tree next to the camp on the left side of the photo usually turns a bright red. I've noticed other maple trees that usually turn red or orange have turned yellow this year. I'm not sure why.

Marilee,
Wow that is a great reflection! You could almost flip the photo upside down and not realize it. Really nice. Next year I hope to explore that western part of the state.

Gosh Marilee,
How much Windex did you use on that lake?
Real nice reflection pic.
