Hi guys. I'm traveling to Stowe this Oct, and I don't know if I should go the 5-9 or the 12th thru the 16th. I have always gone the 2nd weekend for the last 6 yrs and now I am going to go during the week and not sure when. Some thoughts please??

My only experience is last year, which I've heard was a bit of an early year, but I was in the Stowe area 10/4 and 10/5 and the color was great. I would definitely go the first weekend. If by chance you're a bit early, it's easy to head north from Stowe where I think it should definitely be very colorful by that point.

yes, last year was an early year--same rain pattern this year as last, temps are forecast normal thru the 15th--definitely 5th thru 9th better than 12th thru 16th to visit
