Leaf Color Update

I was in Corinth, VT (between Montpelier and Bradford) Friday, Sat. and Sunday (Oct. 10-13). The colors were spectacular! This region has a great deal of Sugar Maples, with some dark green spruce, white birch, beech and a few aspens. The mix and blend of the brilliant reds, oranges and golds with the deep green spruce and soft yellows and greens was truly amazing. We love looking down on the valleys and hollows in the morning as the fog slides along and rises. The scenes are constantly changing and make for great photo opportunities. I do believe that they will start falling today with the wind, but Southern Vermont appears to have a few days to go until peak color. I have seen 50 autumns and I am still enthralled by the beauty. I could never leave New England. Kick a few leaves around and enjoy :-)
