Thanks Carol! I'll be staying in Lincoln this weekend, and am hoping to spend Saturday in VT and Sunday in NH.... looks like the Notch area will be great then!

Stunning color!, those first 2 pictures especially--unreal--what a Fall this year!--Carol, were those pictures taken while driving I-93?

You shoulda seen the Kanc, Bear Notch, and Crawford Notch on Sunday. Little spots of sun light were peeking through. But where the heck are the &%$$% MOOSE ??

I can't believe what a difference one year makes--Last year, there was zilch color in Franconia Notch, Northern NH, and the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont at this time-- everything was dried out from the drought and warm weather--but this year, not only are the Fall colors exceptional, even the green areas everywhere are more lush, adding to the beauty and contrast--summer rains and the cooler Sept really set things up nice this year
