Colors of Vermont

Or I should say the colors of Southern Vermont.
The colors of Southern Vermont are Brown and Green. You may find a hint of yellow or orange.
That is, if you can find a leaf after the rain and wind this past weekend.
All joking aside, the air is crisp, with the scent of wood burning, add the low temps, the peaceful serenity of nature now falling asleep.....can be next to heaven......until the snow comes......then there is the plowing, the shoveling, and the rest.
So if you have missed the foliage, come to Vermont, stay at a lovely Bed & Breakfast, have a great dinner, with some great wine, sit by a cozy fire, with a great book, or your significant other,do some shopping, and Enjoy the Green Mountains !!!

I'll probably do that after I send a nasty e-mail to the weather folks about last Friday's "light snow flurries in the mountains".

Let us all hope, this winter season will not be as bad as predicted.
I love Vermont in all seasons, except "mud" season.
