The suggested drives around the NE Kingdom sound great. I want to do them all! But I'm not sure how long they will take. Could you give an estimate on how long it will take to do a loop from St. Johnsbury through Lake Willoughby, Echo Lake, Island Pond and back? Also, is the Athenaeum worth a visit? Thanks.

It will take about 2 hours to do that loop if you are just driving. The Athenaeum is worth a look as is the Fairbanks Museum just down the street.
