Any idea if we can get air rides (helicopter or gas balloon or whatever) for fall foliage views in Vermont or NH, at a decent price ? I guess fall foliage would look stunning from the air and just wanted to check if there is any such possibility in Vermont or NH. Thanks in advance

There are a few operations below in VT but I heard the one above is the best. Be prepared to drop a few bucks (big bucks) at any of them.

Check out this website and phone number for Hot Air Balloons
www.balloonsofvermont.com which is based out of Quechee
Gives phone number as: 802 369 0213

Another listing:
Balloons Over New England
www.balloonsovernewengland.com
Phone: 1-800-788-5562

On several occassions, we have enjoyed watching, Hot Air balloons launch from the Green down the street nearby the Simon Pearce Restaurant in Quechee.

Saw two hovering over Quechee Gorge one morning when we drove over the Gorge's bridge on our way to the Farmer's Diner for breakfast. Diner is located in the Quechee Gorge shopping area nearby the bridge. For those who choose not to venture up, up and away, viewing them launch or hovering above Quechee Gorge is a rare and beautiful sight to behold!

There are glider rides at many small airports like the one in Morrisville and Waitsfield.
