Oops forgot two more gorgeous routes!

Tim: I was just looking at my map and forgot to add two gorgeous drives: 1. Roxbury Mountain Road : Route 12A out of Northfield traveling to Roxbury and picking up the "Roxbury Mountain/Gap Road" to East Warren and then Warren. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. The town of Warren is outstanding. Prob...

Tim and forum viewers: I hope I am not putting my life on the line so to speak, for color/time estimations, so I am certainly open to anyone's corrections of my own guestimations! (Barring last fall's extremely long season of course!) I used the following 3 week span as a foliage template: 1st...

Hi Tim! Great idea! I have some areas to highlight for color viewing that come to mind from previous travels: 1. Route 7 corridor heading north from from Pownal to Arlington through the Shaftsbury areas. 2. Route 9 west from Brattleboro to Wilmington. 3. Ridge Road from Brookfield area south to Rand...

Everyone! So excited to get my July/August issue of Yankee Magazine and see Libery Hill Farm highlighted by author Christina Tree in a lovely article entitled Rooms of Wonder where she answers the question: "If you could stay overnight at only five places in New England, where would they be?" Libert...

Great Job!

Abby: thoroughly enjoyed your photos, especially Lake Willoughby, the moose and the "road running under the barn" per PWT's recommendation. The barn is on our itinerary, Tebbets Road I think it is, for fall. It's nice to see a picture of where we are going. Kudos for the outstanding shots you've tak...

Hi bm! Nice to see your reply about Danville. I wanted to also mention that if anyone is eating at the Creamery Restaurant, the maple cream pie was the highlight of the meal! I was intending to share it but devoured the whole thing myself! Save room for this dessert after a stupendous meal! (I think...

Abby: thanks for all this information. I didn't know there was an old mill on Granby Road so we'll check it out. But we'll turn around and then finish the loop to Victory. We're saving the "Lewis Pond adventure" for when we have more time as we are heading up to Island Pond, Lake Willoughby, Newport...

Your phenomenal pdf on Photographing Scenic Vermont

Abby: these shots are lovely. I think the white snow against the white church and the brilliant blue sky is strikingly beautiful.

Also, the bare branches framing the church is picturesque. Thanks for sharing these, great job!

Victory Road/Victory Bog/Victory/Guildhall

I am staying the first two days in the NEK (10/7 and 8) on my 2nd VT trip and am preparing a route for my guests through Victory Basin/Forest by taking 114 out of East Burke to Victory Road. I’ve heard a lot about Victory Road and always wanted to drive it! The first stop is Gallop Mills and then Da...

Maybe you and PWT can conjure up some extraordinary route or destination and we can find a good meeting p...
