I did a quick drive to Barkhamsted Reservoir today, near peak foliage conditions with the Oaks, going bare with other deciduous specie's. I headed South on Route 179 torwards North Canton and the trees were quite bare. I turned around and went home.

On October 10th, I drove on Route 190 to Route 32, I-84, to Route 197 and Bigelow Hollow, Route 169 to Woodstock, Route 44 back to Route 31. Some really nice foliage color in Enfield, but it's in commercial areas and pictures are hard to take.

Lots of rain here today and 4.5" of rain this week. I don't know how the foliage is making it through this event. I'm going to drive around town tomorrow. Not alot of wind.
