We usually come up via Keene, and cross over the river at Walpole, NH. I've often thought that the area along the river is lovely. I haven't seen much mention of Rte 5.........is this a road with good views (of farms, foliage, etc)... or not so much?

The problem I had with his directions was that I didn't come from Woodstock, I came in from the south. Thus, the mileages, etc, were relatively useless to me. That's why I gave the location on a google map.......you'll be able to get to it no matter where you are. :) Just found my notes, the Sugar H...

Hi, Sorry 'bout that. Jenne Farm is on Jenne Road, in Woodstock, Vermont, directly off of Rte 106. If you use Google maps, and plug in Jenne Road, Woodstock, VT......you can then enter your start place and get exact directions. Jenne Road is a small, dirt road. People park on the grass just off the ...

Seeming like Columbus day weekend is going to be a bit late htis year. :( I never even thought about the fact that we've been 2wks ahead all season long with the early warm spring, everything is about 2 weeks advanced. So it makes sense that the foliage would be coming along faster. Birds arrived ea...

That's an incredible barn!! I tried looking through Google and Flickr, and didn't come up with it. Sent the photographer an email asking where the barn is, will see if she replies. :)

Wow, I'm truly amazed that Art would profess such a thing!! The retired dog trainer in me immediately wonders if this is his "thing." Almost every dog trainer who does seminars has a "thing" that they toss out at some point. Some utterly ridiculous, some ingenious. But it seems like there is an unwr...

Hahaha, I hear you!!! That's why I skipped the CS4 upgrade, and haven't done LR3 yet (or gone to CS5). I started with LR2, and that's where I still am. :D My CS3 was an insane $199 upgrade from Elements 5. I think even as early as CS3, there were debates about smart sharpening being better than USM,...

I am running 32 bit Windows XP Professional -- I am pretty sure I only have 2G of ram. Haven't had any problems with content aware or CS5. That's fantastic!!! I'm using XP Home Media, and did install up to 4Gb of RAM, even though I know a 32 bit system can't use all of it. Sounds like there is hope...

Andy, I'm surprised you don't use LR for the intial sort (and have it rename upon import). I use both LR2 and CS3 (and of course, shoot Nikon raw! ). My typical workflow is to import into LR. If I want to keyword upon import (i.e. general things with a location name or perhaps kids' names), I ...

That is the major draw for me to CS5 as well. I'm still running CS3 currently, and debating on not upgrading until I upgrade my PC. It's a 4yr old system, I've upgraded the memory and HDD myself. I can easily run a multi-layer project in CS3 while also playing in Lightroom2. My big concern is that I...
