Photographing the Arlington Covered Bridge

Just wondering how people get the perspective on this bridge after visiting the location (in the rain). How does one get that photo that looks as if it is taken on a hill above the bridge? The location actually has a steep, wooded hill where the photo would have to be taken to get the Norman Rockwel...

There is a list of buttons below the message window when you are typing a message. Just click on the image button and type in the url of your image. We discourage posting images directly on the forums because we don't have the compression software and sizing software to keep people from posting humu...

It's taken from a forestry road that overlooks Lake Willoughby and Mount Pisgah. It is looking north up the lake.You can drive up to this point in summer and fall, and xcountry ski in the winter

No one can tell you exactly when to come because the weather and other conditions are constantly changing. One day is never exactly the same the next day here in Vermont. If you come in mid October you will see foliage color guaranteed, but no one can tell you exactly where in the state it will be. ...

If you take a look at the picture of the day on foliage-vermont.com you'll see that I took a picture of Lake Seymour with the Seymour Lake Lodge across the lake (white bldg). The color is about typical for the area for today (Oct 1). It will be more pronounced every day from now on.
