Status of Rte 100 ??
I think I read somewhere in one of the threads recently that Rte 100 is rather a disappointment currently. Did this apply to most of Rte 100, or only the northern-most section? It's an area I haven't really driven much during foliage season, and was thinking of heading up from Ludlow for a bit of a ...

Lye Brook Falls
Looks like a beautiful place, and a 2.3mi hike sounds fantastic! Any hints/suggestions?

I don't know if they stick around for the winter or not, but in the summer, they' can be found in Lake Ninevah, near the intersection of Rtes 103 and 100. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=lake+ninevah+vt&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Lake+Ninevah&gl=us&ei=5LmiTMm7KsL88AaplomRCg&ved=0CBgQ8...

I haven't explored too far down the road......though now that I have my Jimapco, I'm ready to head off! :D :D This is a morning shot for sure. There's also a really cool barn RIGHT on the roadside (as in mere inches from the pavement). I tried to shoot it last year, and even at 14mm on a full-frame ...

Rte 100A through Plymouth (running between Rte's 100 and 4) is a lovely drive. About 3/4 of the way from Plymouth up to Bridgewater corners is a little side road called Hale Hollow Road. It's literally an elbow that goes off Rte 100A and then comes back on. Shot this around 9:30a, after having been ...

Rte 5 along the VT / NH border?
I've been wondering the past few years how this road is for foliage. Does it have nice views (i.e. farms, long views), or is it too low into the trees? We usually enter VT from Walpole, NH and that particular area is just lovely. Haven't yet had time to explore further north.
