Re: Stowe 10/2 - in heavy downpours all day!

4. No traffic in Stowe, I went thru the light at that notorious intersection in a split second and all the construction appears to be completed widening the shoulders and/or culverts. Don't forget your rain gear!!!!!!!! Well ctyanky, if the Weather Gods were against you, at least you have the Stowe...

Re: A Great Season is About to Unfold! The Color is Coming Now!

Hi ctyanky I'm planning on leaving home early tomorrow morning and being in the NEK by 9:00am. My plans are to go to Bean, Wheeler, Dolloff, and Jobs Pond (I love to photograph reflections), and then drive north to Norton Pond, and maybe as far as Averill Pond. I'll do Stannard Mtn. Rd on Thursday m...

Re: A Great Season is About to Unfold! The Color is Coming Now!

ctyanky, thank you for the great report, this is wonderful news. It looks like your timing is going pay off after all. I'm glad that you are in foliage heaven !!! Other reports suggest that the trees look much healthier this year than last year, when stuff quickly went to brown and drop. Would you c...

Re: NEK update from today

Hi Hex: thanks for the wonderful report. I do have a question. I’m not familiar with Canaan Hill Road. It sounds wonderful from your description. Why is it not for the faint of heart? Is it because of the condition of the road? Do you suggest only a high ground clearance vehicle or could a regular ...

Re: Nice color in Pittsburg NH--Google Pittsburg NH Webcams

Hi Ed: Maybe I'll go to NH with Tim now on Wednesday the 3rd if it is looking great! We were planning on the NEK area. Things will move faster if we get a few, good cold snaps. Ugh, so much to see and do. Wentworth, if you go to NH, keep us posted!!! CT Ctyanky, that's okay, Pittsburg looks like it...

Wow the color in Pittsburg has had a very noticeable change in the past 3 days or so, it looks like everything up north is really starting to accelerate now.

Re: Vermont Webcam Links

...and killington is covered with fog again today. Is that pretty normal for this time of year? Was really hoping next week to travel up the gondolas at Killington and/or Stowe. That fog is there because it is lightly raining in Killington today. If you are in Vermont for about a week, you should a...

Re: NEK update from today

Hi Carol, thanks for the report. My travel plans for the NEK were to go up Wednesday 10/3 thru 10/11. Based on this reports and what you are seeing, is that too late? When you told me that you were going up on Wednesday, I assumed that meant next week, not this week. I told you Jobs Pond was high on...
