Today in the morning I visited Marshfield, Groton State Forest, Kettle Pond and Ricker Pond. Color there is 75% to 85% of peak, with many pockets of full peak. On 10/01/21 I drove thru Franconia Notch on my way to the NEK.

I would say the north end of Franconia Notch and Artist Bluff was 40% turned at best, and a week away from peak. Near Lincoln at the south end of the notch, it was even more green, maybe 25% of peak.

Drove north from St. J. to Island Pond, Norton, Averill, Canaan, and on to Pittsburg NH.
