Re: Best bets Tomorrow through Saturday?
Just seeing this, hope you found some good color. On Monday the 9th I came up Rt 91 on the way back from NYC and along there up to WRJ, it was mostly green still. Some brown, a few trees turned, saw some yellows. So, maybe south of WRJ will be good next weekend.

Jenne Road Closed
Tourists are being a nuisance so the road to Jenne Farm is closed except for local traffic. Who just walks into someone's house to use the bathroom without permission?

Corinth, VT Report
Hi All, I went to Corinth today for their fall festival at their fairgrounds, so I thought I'd just report on what I saw along the drive there. I went north on 91 to exit 16 then west on Rt. 25. The fairgrounds were off Rt. 25. There is some color along the river on Rt. 25. I see more change along 9...

Re: Why no action on this forum ?
I realized I forgot to say how things were in St. Johnsbury last weekend at Dog Mountain. I drove up from WRJ straight up Rt. 91, some changing, but was a mixed bag. Saw some brown, most of the color was more the russet type colors. I saw two trees that had some brighter leaves that whole day. At Do...

Re: Why no action on this forum ?
I've not been too far into VT yet since the floods. I know Manchester, Ludlow, Middlebury and Montpelier got hit pretty hard. They are hoping the tourists come as the businesses could use the revenue. I am heading to Dog Mountain in St. Johnsbury today. My father passed away in May and I've inherite...

Re: Why no action on this forum ?
I can say in Lebanon, I am seeing that green to brown issue we had a couple years ago already. Temps have been so up and down, then all the rain. I don't know what to expect. I guess I'll try to look for areas that maybe didn't get hit with so much rain, but I don't know what those might be. I was a...

Re: Anyone Know Where This Is?
I don't think so, the Long Trail is in VT. It doesn't go into NH.

Anyone Know Where This Is?
I remember several years ago while on the road coming to a rest stop and while we were parked we had a nice view over some hills/mountains and I'm pretty sure the Long Trail cut through there and you could get onto the trail from that rest stop parking lot. I have no recollection what highway we wer...

White Mountains & NH Report
I was in the White Mountains area on Saturday. The foliage was spectacular. Though, I didn't get to spend much time there. I started to go on the Kanc but already at 7:30 in the morning the first parking area stop was filled and I think that one was the largest one. I came up 93 from the south then ...

Re: Southern Vermont 10-9-22
Thanks for the report. I was considering Stratton on Sunday, glad I opted for the Tunbridge area instead. Even there though some trees had lost leaves. It was quite windy in Tunbridge on Sunday.

Foliage Spotting Tool
Got an email about this the other day from Gaia GPS. I use this app when I am hiking to make sure I am staying on the trail. However, it has the ability to use satellites to spot colored foliage. Thought I'd share in case someone might be interested. https://blog.gaiagps.com/use-gaia-gps-to-find-the...

Good Color in St. Johnsbury
I was in St. Johnsbury today. First at Dog Mountain for the dog party then east of there along Rt 2 then up to Colebrook. Good color out that way, some nice bright trees. Saw a tree in someone's yard that was so bright red it almost hurt my eyes to look at it. It was gorgeous. I think it was a maple...
