Just read an article from the local paper that said 2 well known foresters predict a banner year for leaves. They recommended Route 102, Route 114, and Rt.105. Now to go to the map.

Sounds like a great route to me! One of the best restaurants with local color is Jennifer's in Island Pond. There is a book out that a lot of cyclists use called "25 Best Bike Tours in Vermont" There is also another one about the trails on the rails.If one wants to go inn to inn, it is very helpful. In the Northeast Kingdom the red and sugar maples are beginning to turn . One says because there was so much rain the colors should be brilliant.

Hi, There is a waterfall in Troy, Vermont called the Troy Falls . There is also a waterfall in Willoughby Lake on the road with state hiking trails.

I agree with Lake Willoughby. It will be a wonder to see this Granite Swiss lake all a bloomed with color,.The hiking trails are managed by the State and the water falls are beautiful. Hi, There is a great road that goes from Willoughby Lake, Seymour lake, Norton and then over to North Stratford, N.H. where you may not only see leaves at this time of year , but also moose in the moose bogs.
