Need something to do when you are in Vermont? How about running up to the top of a ski mountain, or lugging around a case of wine bottles? How fast can you eat six hot dogs in a row? All worth it if you win the $1,000 first prize! The Celebrate the Valley event was just one of several events going on in the Mount Snow-Wilmington area this past Memorial Day weekend.

The event, designed to promote the beauty of Southern Vermont's Deerfield Valley, is likely to be repeated although we'd heard it said that the competition is likely to be more challenging next time around.
