Description This restaurant is located in an old Vermont farmhouse built circa 1819. This building has a lot of history and architectural features of the time, quite similar to the Tuscan farmhouses of Italy. One third of the building is used by the restaurant, with the remainder having been converted to an Italian B&B. Trattoria La Festa in Italian means a family style eatery where every day is a feast. The difference between a trattoria and ristorante is that trattoria will remain informal and casual, but with great attention to food and wine. Trattoria La Festa was the first trattoria concept in the state of Vermont.
