Description This great little artsy bistro on Route 100C in Johnson, opened in 2007 - right on the bank of the Gihon River. It has excellent upscale food in an intimate environment and friendly staff. The Winding Brook specializes in locally grown organic food. Appetizers include mushroom strudel, steamed mussels in ginger with lemongrass among others. Entrees range from Espresso Grilled Pork Loin, Horseradish Potato Encrusted Salmonfilet, to vegetarian specialties like Carmelized Onion Portobello Burger, Linguini Pomodoro and much more. Excellent wine and beer selection. A great place for an intimate date.
