Description Cooking at the inn is truly a family affair. Your day begins with a hearty country breakfast that will fuel you through even the most grueling day of skiing, biking, walking, or touring. Bill serves up his famous pancakes, eggs, French toast or waffles, ham, sausage, or bacon (the menu rotates through the week -always pancakes dripping with Vermont's famous maple syrup on Sundays). Toast, homemade jam, juice, assorted hot and cold cereals, and steaming cup of your favorite morning beverage round out your morning.

When the dinner bell rings at 7 o'clock, Ruth serves the first of a three-course, home-cooked dinner. People ask what type of cooking the inn is noted for and Ruth replies "It's like going to your Grandmother's house for Sunday dinner - that is, of course, if your Grandmother could cook". The aroma of fresh baked bread greets you upon entering the inn. If you've been relaxing on the porch, living or barn board rooms, tantalizing scents have already piqued your appetite.
