BALLOON FESTIVAL - Every Father's Day weekend, Quechee becomes a mecca for amateur and professional crafters, musicians, and photographers, as the Annual Quechee Balloon Festival & Craft Fair attracts dozens of balloonists and their brilliantly-colored hot-air balloons to this quaint central Vermont village.

SWIMMING - Lake Pinneo is a 50 acre man-made lake with SWIMMING, non-powered BOATING and WINDSURFING. Sunfish sailboats and canoes are available for rent.

HIIKING trails abound throughout the 5500 acres including the famous Appalachian Trail which stretches from Georgia to Maine. Dewey's Pond is a wildlife refuge where FISHING and non-powered BOATING is permitted.

The Ottauquechee River is wonderful for FLY FISHING .

The POLO FIELD at Quechee Lakes is the site of Polo matches throughout the summer. The polo field is also the place to be on the 4th of July for the Vermont Symphony and in August, the Scottish festival.

The recreation program for young people includes activities such as hay rides, river tubing, swimming, tennis, and golf clinics and camp outs in the summer - torch light skiing, skating parties, and sleigh rides in the winter.
