The Quechee Inn, located on a quiet country road just outside Quechee village, features 24 comfortable rooms, all with private baths and air conditioning. Some rooms feature queen canopy beds, and all are decorated individually with period furnishings and elegant touches.

The rustic and cozy Common Room, with its fireplace and grand piano, provides inviting sitting areas for conversation, a game of chess or a glass of brandy. A highlight of every guest's stay is superb dining by candlelit in our restaurant, which features fresh Vermont produce, meats and cheeses.

The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm overlooks the Ottaquechee River and Dewey's Mills Pond, and is just a short, scenic walk to breathtaking Quechee Gorge. Built in 1793 and on the National Register of Historic Places, the Inn was the home of Vermont's first lieutenant governor, Col. Joseph Marsh, grandfather of George Perkins Marsh.

Guests enjoy privileges at the nearby Quechee Club, where golf on two championship 18 hole courses, tennis, indoor pool and exercise room are available at a nominal charge.

We offer a number of exceptional midweek packages and Theme Weekends. Here are some examples:

  • Jazz Weekend- meet saxophone great Fred Haas and the legendary pianist Paul Broadnax.
  • Bring Your Friends Package - share the pleasure and comfort of the Quechee Inn with friends. For each additional room your group rents, you'll save $10.00 off the price of each room, up to $50 for five or more rooms.
