Mid September, no colors?

Vacation time this year fall on mid of September. And ofcourse!!! me and my wife are going to Green Mountain state. We went there last summer and both fell in love with it. This time we want to catch folige. Is september good for it at all?<BR>Thank you

You should see some good early colors in Mid- September. The best colors will be in northeastern Vermont at that time. That would be north of route US 2 and east of routes 100/108. The "stressed out" trees are already showing colors. Rooms should be easier to find at that time also. Finding a room in peak color times is very difficult.
