Planning trip this weekend

Hi,

I am planning trip this weekend. Frankly I am as confused as others.:-) Will I be better off sticking to Southern VT, areas around Bennington and Mass or should I venture elsewhere? Where are best chances of finding colors and would you please recommend some routes?

Thanks
Steve

I'd stick with southern Vermont. Bennigton should be alright but head over to the Brattleboro area also. There is good early color in The Champlain Valley south of Burlington and the colors around the Peacham area in east central Vermont looked early last weekend.

Bennington will be too early.. we do have some color but it's just getting started. Might be better off in the Wilmington area -- I'll be going through that area and will report in. --c

I doubt Brattleboro will be any better than Bennington, for what it's worth. But it's only an hour max between the two towns, easy enough to drive around and see what looks best.
