Amazing how much that looks like the dam at the Somerset Reservoir, actually.

Okay I just realized... here's a chance for us to "calibrate" what we mean by "peak". What do you all think of the trees visible in the background in bm's picture? Near peak, peak, past peak? --c

Past peak for me too. The bare trees are wide spread. While there are bare trees during peak it's usually a single tree or a small pacth of red maples in a swamp. Colors up here are better and that's all bass-ackwards. Another year of this and I'm retiring as moderator by the jeezum.

I'll call that picture at the dam, past peak, lots of trees are bare.
