Those are some really nice shots. I particularly like the image with the fuzzy dandelions in the foreground and the clouds in the sky. Nothing says the dawn of summer like fuzzy dandelions.

I hope you had a long lens to photograph that bear! Generally black bears are not aggressive unless they are really hungry. Apparently he didn't see you as dinner!

Where is the church on the hill? I don't recall ever seeing it on any of my visits to Vermont.

Thanks Autzig.

70-200mm lens from a second floor window for the bear picture. :D

The church on the hill above downtown Newport, VT. I took that picture from a boat while out on Lake Memphremagog.

NEK, love the first one as well, in fact I almost sneezed just looking at it! J/K, it would make a beautiful screen saver.

Hi ax: I am embarrassed. This forum was my baby, set up by Tim (the SOV) owner, at my request and on my promise to moderate. I, too, am not a native Vermonter, but I have lived there and have family there. I haven't been here much lately, but thanks for stoking the fire. I would love to see more. I will try to get something posted this weekend. Right now, "life" keeps getting in the way :D. I have a Vemont dedicated page on my website: http://www.lightcentricphotography.com/ ... /i-jsDtdbg. Writing from a tablet this morning so I don't have all my resources at hand

Hi Tim: these are beautiful. Did you take the first shot of Wildflower Inn from Ridge Road? I think Ridge Road is great, been on it a few times in the fall.....Thanks for popping in here with such nice scenes! :D

So glad I decided to drop by today. Home today tending the newest grandson, just got him to sleep with a little time on my hands, and was delighted to see these beautiful photos. Thanks NEK, glad to see some snow has finally arrived after hearing reports of your San Diego Christmas!
