Well, we all know who #1 is. Otherwise, the article is not very well researched or done . NH, Maine, Michigan U.P., West Virginia - not even mentioned.

New Hampshire is listed as # 2, hard to limit a list to just ten when your trying to show a sampling across the entire US. It would be easier to do general areas, like the whole of New England as #1! We live in a beautiful world!

Agree, Utah. I guess I wouldn't use the Huffington Post as a beacon. They should probably stick to politcs. Willl we see you at Seyon on Saturday?

I'm not one of their readers, actually was surprised my daughter sent it to me, and only because she thought I'd enjoy seeing it
We will not be arriving till late Sat. night in Manchester, NH. Be driving up Sun. morning, love to meet up with anyone who is available then. So disappointed we'll miss everyone Sat.

I am likely, once again, to miss you. You might meet Al. He is dropping me off in Burlington sometime Sunday.

Portland, Oregon at Number 9!???
I lived there for 4 years. Residents would go into the Cascade mountains looking for colorful vine maples. There are thousands of square miles of forest land around Portland but the Douglas fir doesn't change color.
I love Portland, but it is not a fall foliage destination, period. Whoever added it to the list hasn't seen real autumn foliage.
Al
PS: Janice, do we have a way to connect on Sunday? I'm staying at the Summit Lodge in Killington on Sunday night. Leave me a message with your phone number. I leave for Vermont tomorrow!
