From_the_NEK,

How is the color in your recommended Loop through the central Northeast Kingdom? I did this route once before and thoroughly enjoyed it! I am thinking about a day trip on Tuesday 10/2 and was wondering if the timing would be good. The weather looks good for Tuesday and I saw another post about Long Pond Rd and it it sounds like the color there is very good.

It is still looking good. Leaves have started to drop a bit but it should hold through mid-week.

Routes 14,15, and 16 are still looking good for this week. The colors this year are the best I've seen in years.
