Carol! These photos are breathtaking!!!! I hope everyone looks at this link! Your Bennington photos are amazing and my favorite is the view of the church surrounded by brilliant foliage. I am so glad you got to the famous fence line and Carpenter Hill Road!!!! That area is gorgeous and I keep going back there in all seasons. Great job Carol and you have captured some great color wherever you went! Thanks so much for putting these photos on the forum! You are an awesome photographer :!: :!: :!:

I guess this is the only place to do any leafpeeping now. It's stick season in northern VT. I will have some leafpeeping in western Virginia. And that "beach wildlife" in Florida has colorful plumage.

Great job Carol. I must say I might look forward to your album more than actaully driving around looking at leaves in person! All in all, this was just an OK year in retrospect in some places, but your work is inspiring.

Carol, thanks for sharing your photos. You have some very nice ones. I especially enjoyed the ones with the curve in the road. :D

Great shots Carol! Really enjoyed them. You made the most of your limited time in Vermont this year. What dates did you take the shots in southern VT? Curious since I'll probably be down there next year. These were my favorites:

Rotated reflections Plainfield MA - very creative, my favorite
Waconah Falls Dalton MA - love that little bit of sunlight beaming down
North Pownal Farm - beautiful little farm

Dear Carol, Thanks sooo much for the amazing photos. Just got home last night from our trip to Virginia, and these were just what I needed to boost my spirits. The colors there where at best just ho hum. and no reds to speak of. Don't get me wrong we had a wonderful trip and ment some wonderful people, but a foliage trip it was not,(more on the trip later) and I missed it dearly. Your pictures helped to soothe me, I so missed being in New England this year especially Vermont! I think I will sit and view the slide show one more time while I sip my hot cider. :)
