CT, I took the photo of the Wildflower Inn from along Rt 5. Ridge road looks at the Wildflower from the other direction.

I guess I too have let life get in the way and haven't been on these forums in months....maybe even a full year

But the camera keeps firing!

Hi Tim: I had no idea about the flooding up there. Has it resolved itself by now? Your photos continue to amaze me. They are so beautiful. Your fog scenes are dreamy and really pull you into the photo, almost like being there. I hope you continue to post well into spring when all the variations of green and beautiful flowers emerge! :D

Nice pics Tim! Really liked the "Snow-village cows" on your Flickr page. Spring has sprung the mountains are greening up, although it still looks like winter up top. Mother's Day brought me a new camera, back pack and tripod, anxious for the rain to stop and get out and explore! Look forward to more photos from you throughout the year, thanks always for sharing Vermont with us! :D

Tim, you have some very nice shots here. A comment and a question:

On the Mansfield Reservoir photo, there is something in the lower right corner. I don't know what that is, but you should remove it.

I really love the "Solstice Moon" image. How long was the lens you used? I'm guessing it had to be quite long to get the moon to be that large. Your "Summer Storm" image is very nice too.

You've posted a lot of nice photographs on this site. I and the others appreciate them. Congrats too on getting an image published in the Vermont magazine.

Al, I noticed that just after I posted the photo. It must have been part of the boat I was in. I didn't notice it in Lightroom or on Flickr because of the black background around the photo in those two places. Posting it here against the light blue background makes the dark object jump out. I'm usually more careful about that kind of clutter in my photos but this wasn't really a photo I had planned on publishing. It is fixed now.

The solstice moon shot was taken with my 70-200mm at 130mm.

And thank you for the compliments. I love to share my work with others.

Tim and Alex,

Thank you for the wonderful photos.

You (and others) serve such a wonderful service by reinvigorating me (and others) with your images.

Work and family have keep my camera on the shelf for (really) the last year or so. Nothing I do will get into your league but, your images still make me want go dust off the gear and get out and shoot.

I have a ton of vacation time this year (a function of not being able to get away from the office, as mentioned previously) and I have committed to shooting the maximum number of days this fall. I am heading to VT and I am going to work hard to shoot more (Stratton giving me four rounds of golf at $25 each is not helping but, the middle of the day is bad for photos, right???) and do more at home too. I drove to a friend's cabin this summer and the roads up there are ALMOST Vermont like with the hills and dales and small farms. I think there are some photos up there and I am going to capture as many as I can.

Thank you again for sharing so freely. Deeply appreciated.

Thank, Tim!

Love the summer shots but, it looks like you also have some nice sites for the fall too.
