A different kind of peak!

Postby Utah Baker » Wed Aug 24, 2011 12:47 pm

Hope you won't mind if a share here some photos of the wildflowers in Albion Basin, Alta, Utah. My daughter, Abbie, and I took a quick drive up last Thurs. morning(it is 20 min. from my front door). It was still a coool 59 degrees at 9:30 a.m. and the flowers were at peak. I was afraid we had missed them as they usually peak about the first week of Aug.. but with the heavy snow pack they where a little late. And yes, that white stuff is still SNOW!

My experience with the West is very limited so thank you very much for posting the photos. Looks like an absolutely gorgeous area.

Looks like the colors are pretty nice out there this time of year!

If it sounds too good to be true, its probably . . . .
