where to stay

Postby yan » Mon Oct 03, 2005 12:44 pm

Guys , this is my first time visiting Vermont. I need your kind recommendation on lodging for
my foliage trip this weekend. I would like to stay in a nice cabin or hotel in/close to the northeast
region for two nights (10/8 and 10/9), preferably in the countryside. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advanced

You might not have much choice as to where you want to stay this weekend as it's a long weekend and many places get booked months in advance.
For colors, the Northeast Kingdom (NE part of the state) is looking good for this weekend.
Try St. Johnsbury, Lyndonville, Burke, Derby, Newport, or Littleton NH for accommodations.

Don't drive up on a holiday weekend in the Fall without advanced reservations. You may not find a place to stay.

Try calling the Northeast Kingdom Chamber of Commerce: 1-800-639-6379.
