Sunrise photography locations?

Does anyone have any favorite high altitude locations where I can take photos of the early morning mist rising from valley floors? I don't mind hiking to a great spot, if necessary. Thanks for any help you can provide.

The summit of Burke Mountain, without a doubt... what a panorama: the White Mountains/Presidential range on the southern horizon, Willoughby Gap, Jay Peak and the northern Greens to the north, and lots of undulating valleyscapes and subtle ridges in the foreground which play nicely against the rising early morning fog below. --Alex, Boston, MA
