Wet or dry summer?

What was the weather conditions this past summer in Central and Southern Vermont? Any prediction as to whether this fall folliage season will be as spectacular as the one I saw in 1997?

The summer had good rainfall until early August, when it became mostly dry...I have not heard a prediction as yet, things seem to be starting out pretty normal as to color progression, with no real extremes either way, we ought to have a good display this year. Keep checking in...as we get more news, we'll let everyone know. When are you coming to Vermont? Susanne
