Killington foliage, Gondola rides

I rode the Killington SKYESHIP and K1 gondola rides today. Neither one has much red, mostly orange, yellow and green. The SKYESHIP colors are best at about the mid-point stop and decrease the closer you get to the top.
The K1 has some color and bare trees at the base and get really barren as you go up.
Today they let you ride both with one ticket.
Laird.

Good report. Red maples prefer lower wet areas to mountains. That's why they are sometimes swamp maples.

I heard the Gondola rides at Killington close this weekend (Columbus Day Weekend.) Anyone know if that is true or not? I would love to take the teens on them next weekend (October 16th)

Thanks, NannyJan
