Driving up rt 100 on the 9th

Hi,

Im planning on doing a drive from i89, across woodstock, and up rt 100 and maybe back to i89.

How long would this take me on a busy saturday during high season?

What would be the conditions for that route during the weekend of Oct 9th?

If this is not the right area for this time, can anyone recommend another area?

In addition to the scenery, I like to visit quaint towns in vermont that has nice foliage as well.

If route 100 between woodstock and 89 junction is peaking great.... are there any other nice diversions off route 100?

thanks in advance!

Paul

Color will be early in the Woodstock area. On route 100 colors will be good from route 4 to
route 125 and great above there. Try Warren Village for quaint. Good deli in the store. Trip is about 5 hours allowing for stops.
