Foliage in NEK, Willoughby Lake area.

We are planning on going up next week Oct 6th. We've been going up there for many years. Usually we are too early and have to go up again.
How is it around Willoughby Lake? King George area? Victory bog?
Thanks
Shirley

I was there on Thursday, and the color was very nice in the higher elevations. Might be a touch past up there when you get there but I would think the valleys will still have at least some color. If not, go a bit further south... --c

We always ride around the back roads looking for new scenic views. Years ago we came to an area called King George, BEATUIFUL that year, now there is some kind of school up there. Never had very good road signs for those dirt roads.

It's from West Barnet, maybe it's Burke road, toward Sutton Place, then on Sutton Rd. at a Y go left, now the there is even a road sign and it's called King George road. Nice view up high and trees were brilliant that year, never as nice as that 1st year tho. Isn't that always the way.

Oh the King George Farm Road in Sutton. The colors should be good up there. I was on the Wheelock/Sutton Road last weekend they had good early color.

Sorry that should of been West Burke, on Rt. 5, and it shows on MS Streets & Trips now.
It's called King George Farm or school.

Good program. I do prefer the Delorme Streets program for customized maps but not by much.
